Barnsley born Dj Jamie Duggan, specialises in Bassline, Funky / Jackin' House and Electro. Drawing inspiration from playing in all the major dance venues in the UK (Such as Ministry Of Sound, O2 Arena's , Mission, Gatecrasher, Big Reunions) as well as all over Europe (with countless residency's abroad in Ibiza (Eden / Es Paradis) , Ayia Napa, Tenerife, Malia and many more). Jamie’s super-slick mixing skills, larger than life personality and ability to make (and erupt) a dancefloor from nothing, makes him one of the top and most sought after DJ’s in the scene.
Jamie first blew up on the scene as a young 17 year old by securing a residency in Sheffield's legendary NICHE Nightclub! He has worked for Niche as their headline dj ever since, aswell as appearing in most major cities up and down the uk too.
In 2003 Jamie turned his hands to his first ever production and gave us all a taster of wot was to come by remixing a couple of cheeky little bootleg chart hit's and making them into niche anthems!
Then in 2004 Jamie linked up with a little known group called PLATNUM and produced one of the biggest and all time bassline classics 'OVER THE HEARTACHE'.
Platnum as we now know, went onto record 'WHAT'S IT GONNA BE' with H-TWO-O and secured a number 2 smash hit with remixes from Jamie amongst others reaching over 250,000 - 300,000 sales!
Since then Jamie has worked with and done remixes for some of the biggest artists around.. Inc RIHANNA / PUSSYCAT DOLLS / TYNCHY STRYDER / N-DUBZ / SKEPTA / BOY BETTER KNOW / ALEX GAUDINO / WIDEBOYS / ADELE / ARTFUL DODGER / TIAO CRUZ / WILEY / DONEA'O + MANY MORE
In 2008 Jamie secured his biggest project yet by signing up with MINISTRY OF SOUND to give you the mighty SOUND OF BASSLINE album , which went on to sell over 150,000 copies + hit number 2 in the dance chart!
He then followed that up in 2009 with THE SOUND OF BASSLINE PART 2 .. Which again hit number 2 in the dance chart and sold over 100,000 copies!
By this time Jamie had now established himself as a major figure in the urban music scene which gave him residency's all over the uk and abroad!
By the end of 2009 Jamie had another album release, this time with independent label INSATIABLE called SUPA DUPA which again was a major success + quickly followed it up with SUPA DUPA 2010 + SUPA DUPA TOUR across the uk and abroad!
Which now bring's us up to speed and back into 2011 where Jamie is now one of the uk's biggest well known + loved underground dj's, playing week in / week out to sell out crowd's whilst also promoting his own event's and workin with some of the biggest event's + brand's around!
Right now Jamie's residency's include SHEFFIELD / BRADFORD / BARNSLEY / LEEDS / MANCHESTER / LEICESTER / WIGAN + MORE! And can still be found making guest appearance's all over the north + midlands so check his Tour Calendar for info!
